Ferran Dordal i Lalueza

Ferran Dordal i Lalueza (Barcelona, 1979) graduated in Humanities at the University Pompeu Fabra and in Dramatic Arts at the Theatre Institute of Barcelona. Stage Director and dramaturg, since 2004 he has shown various pieces and performances, like “To the Happy Few” (Festival Temporada Alta, 2006), “Souvenirs d’égotisme” (Festival Lola, 2007), “autopsicografia” (Festival PNRM, 2011) and “Die Telepatische Bar” with Alexander Manuiloff (Rodeo-Festival Munich, 2016).

He also showed “M.A.D. (Mutual Assured Destruction)” (Teatre Lliure, 2011) and “constel·lació” (MACBA, 2012), both co-written and co-directed with Àlex Serrano. Since 2012 he is part of the Agrupación Señor Serrano (León de Plata from the Bienal de Venècia 2015), with whom he has worked in the productions “Brickman Brando Bubble Boom” (2012), “A House in Asia” (2014), and “Birdie” (2016), all of them touring internationally at the moment. As an author and dramaturg he worked with Àlex Rigola, Carlota Subirós, Alícia Gorina and Alberto Bernal and others. Currently he is director of the magazine (Pausa.), published by Sala Beckett, and member of the Lecture Committee of the National theatre of Catalunya.
